Clearing smoke; thickening clouds
-GOOD WEDNESDAY MORNING, EVERYONE...
The advance of a storm system from the Pacific has introduced a few clouds to the region, and they will thicken as we go through the day. Highs today will be in the mid to upper 70's and SW winds will pick up to 10-15 mph, gusting to 25+ mph. SW winds will become lighter this evening. We have a 60-70% chance of seeing rain showers tonight. Overnight lows will be scattered through the 40's.
After some scattered morning showers, we will get some partial clearing Thursday. That is also when the colder air will invade. Look for highs in the mid 60's with gentler westerly breezes. Friday will be equally chilly and we will have about a 30% chance of showers beginning about noon and extending through the evening. The warmup will start Saturday under partly cloudy skies. Clearing will continue Sunday and into next week. By Tuesday, we will be back into the mid 80's.
