Sunshine, cool temperatures return to the High Desert

KTVZ

Good evening ,Central Oregon!

Partly sunny skies overhead to start off the weekend, and it looks like that trend will continue into Sunday.

Overnight tonight, we are looking at calm winds with lows dipping down into the teens and 20s.

There is a slight chance that some snow showers will linger through the Cascades through the overnight.

For Sunday, we are looking at mostly clear skies with cold temperatures in the upper 30s to low 40s.

Those daytime highs are right around average for this time of the year.

A high of 40 degrees is normal at Roberts Field in Redmond for this time of the year.

That trend of mostly sunny skies looks to be with us into Monday and Tuesday as well, with highs in the 40s.

By the middle of next week is when we could be seeing some changes, as chances for rain showers increase come Wednesday night into Thursday.

Chances for rain continue into next weekend, and it looks like we could see some snow potentially come next Saturday.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, Central Oregon!
