Clear skies begin week before shower chances increase

KTVZ

Happy Monday, Central Oregon!

Sunny skies overhead and cool breezy conditions but that is all set to change.

This evening, we are going to see winds out of the southeast at 5-10 mph.

Overnight lows are set to drop into the teens to 20s once again.

Tuesday is when we are looking at some changes.

Highs are set to top out in the mid to upper 30s and low 40s, with increasing clouds throughout the day.

Winds will be a bit breezy as well out of the southeast at 10-15 mph with gusts up around 20 mph.

By Wednesday, we could see some chances for some snow showers to move through the region.

It looks likely those showers will develop Wednesday evening.

At this point, it doesn't look like we will see much in the way of accumulation ,but we are keeping a close eye on the system as it gets closer.

Throughout the rest of the week, we are looking at chances for rain and snow with highs in the 40s to low 50s.

Have a great rest of your day, Central Oregon!
