Showers Are On The Way
-GOOD WEDNESDAY MORNING, EVERYONE..
This morning's initial cloud cover is from a storm moving southward along the California coast, but a developing system in the Gulf of Alaska will press in quickly bringing more storms to the region. Today we will see a 30% chance of mixed showers with highs in the mid 30's to low 40's and southerly breezes at 5-10 mph. Rain turns to snow tonight as lows dip to freezing and a little below.
Our best chance of rain is Thursday, but a chance of rain during the day mixing with snow overnight will stay with us right through the weekend. This will all start to break up Sunday night and we will be left with partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies to start Christmas week. A modest cooling trend will have us down to the upper 30's for daytime highs by Tuesday.
