John Hendricks

Weeknight reporter, NewsChannel 21

John Hendricks joined KTVZ/KFXO in Setember 2009 as producer of NewsChannel 21 at Sunrise. After 2 1/2 years working overnight, John joined the NewsChannel 21 team of reporters in March of 2012.

You can catch his reports weeknights on NewsChannel 21 at 10 on Fox and on NewsChannel 21 at 11 on NBC, and also prepares reports for our early-evening news shows.

Prior to coming to Bend, John studied New Media Communications at Oregon State University. At OSU, he produced and hosted a weekly sports show on KBVR-TV. John was honored nationally four times by College Broadcasters Inc. and three times by the Oregon Association of Broadcasters.

In his spare time, John enjoys the outdoors. On most weekends in the winter, you can find him burning turns at one of Central Oregon’s ski areas

He is also no stranger to enjoying one of Bend’s many tasty micro-brews.
