Adam Aaro

Co-anchor/reporter, NewsChannel 21 at 5, 6, 10 and 11

Adam Aaro helps get you up to date on the latest news on NewsChannel 21 at 5, 6, 10 and 11 p.m. weeknights. He also reports for several newscasts on both KTVZ and KFXO.

Adam started working for NewsChannel 21 in March of 2009 and for several months co-anchored NewsChannel 21 at Sunrise.

Prior to coming to Bend, Adam worked as a reporter at WBAY-TV in Green Bay, Wisconsin. While in Green Bay, Adam covered everything from the aftermath of a devastating tornado to Brett Favre’s trade from the Packers.

A Midwesterner his entire life — until now, Adam grew up in Minnesota and graduated with a journalism degree from The University of St. Thomas. After college, Adam worked at KTTC-TV in Rochester, Minnesota as the weekend anchor.

Adam is a huge Minnesota sports fan. He also is thrilled to be living where you can sample some of the best-brewed beer in the world.

Adam and his wife Jackie welcomed their daughter, Sylvie Elizabeth, in April of 2011. In their spare time, the Aaros love to go on hikes and explore the beauty of Central Oregon.
