Mackenzie Wilson

Mackenzie Wilson joined KTVZ/KFXO in January 2010. She moved to Bend after spending a short stint in Portland, but she grew up in Sandpoint, Idaho. A true Northwest girl, Mackenzie can’t imagine being happy living anywhere without a ski resort or a lake.

A graduate of the University of Idaho, Mackenzie holds a Bachelor’s degree in radio, television and digital media production, as well as an emphasis in communication studies. During her time as a Vandal, Mackenzie reported for the school TV station, KUID, in a segment called “Mostly Moscow.” She also acted as news director for the student-run radio station KUOI.

With a passion for writing, Mackenzie feels privileged to have the opportunity to report for NewsChannel 21 and tell the stories of people on the High Desert. You can also get your weather from Mackenzie when she fills in on occasion.
