Chip-sealing due on 2 Bend streets

Two streets are scheduled to be chip sealed next week as part of the City of Bend 2012 Street Maintenance Program.

Road and lane closures will be required to complete the work. Please note the construction schedule below:

Project dates are estimates based on favorable conditions; variances may occur due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

August 27: Chip Seal
Butler Market Rd. (27th St. to 8thSt. Roundabout)
Lane closure with Pilot Car (8 a.m. – 5 p.m.)

August 28: Chip Seal
NE 15th Str. (Reed Market Rd. to Bear Creek Rd.)
Street closure – use detour (8 a.m. – 5 p.m.)

Work Zone Information
The general contractor on this project is High Desert Aggregate. Typical working hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Road and lane closures will be used. Alternate routes are suggested to avoid the construction zones.
