Olive Garden restaurants across the county will be serving thank you lunches to fire stations, police departments and ER rooms on Labor Day.

The Bend Olive Garden will be participating in the national event, to say thank you for their dedicated service in the Central Oregon community.

“Every Labor Day, Olive Garden does a hospitality honor visit, or a lunch run,” said Culinary Manager John Lane of the Bend restaurant. “This year, we are going to do the Sisters fire department and the St. Charles emergency room.”

This is the 11th consecutive year Olive Garden has put this on. Last year, lunch was delivered to the Bend police and fire departments.

This year’s Olive Garden honorees will enjoy lasagna, fresh salad, breadsticks and tiramisu.
