Sunriver man wounded in Crescent bar fight
Oregon State Police are investigating a Saturday night disturbance outside of a Crescent restaurant/bar that left a Sunriver man with a non-life threatening neck wound and minor injuries to several others.
No arrests have been made and OSP is asking for contact from any witnesses to help with the investigation.
According to Trooper Nick Hagedorn, around 8:45 p.m., Crescent EMS and police responded to a report of a stabbing at the Little River Bar & Grill in Crescent.
Upon arrival, a 22-year-old Sunriver man was found with a serious neck laceration, troopers said. He was flown by air ambulance to St. Charles Medical Center in Bend for treatment, they added.
A preliminary investigation found that a physical altercation involving at least six people occurred outside the bar, during which the Sunriver man was injured.
Troopers say three of the people involved left the scene before emergency responders arrived. They were later found by OSP troopers and Klamath County deputies at two different locations.
The three La Pine-area men, ages 50, 57, and 63, were identified and interviewed.
Two men, ages 21 and 23, who were friends of the victim remained at the scene.
Nearly all involved persons showed signs of physical injury, the OSP said, but only one was transported for treatment.
