Deschutes Co. planning chief named to council

Deschutes County Planning Director Nick Lelack was recently appointed to the University of Oregon’s Department Planning, Public Policy and Management’s Advisory Council (PPPM).

The PPPM Advisory Council is an external relations group, connecting the county’s Community Development Department with activities and trends, identifying opportunities for service or research, and working with the Department to facilitate discussions around major public issues.

Nick is the only planning director and county representative on the Council, and one of two members from outside the Willamette Valley.
