Smoke-free downtown survey results to be released

KTVZ

This past June, the residents of Deschutes County were asked in a series of focus groups and in an electronic survey, what they think of smoking in public places including local downtown areas.

Next Thursday, the results of the feedback will be released by Deschutes County Health Services and The Rede Group, the company that conducted the study.

The focus group data (from La Pine, Bend, Redmond and Sisters residents), conclusions, recommendations and the electronic survey that accompanied the study, have been compiled into a report and will be shared at Thursday’s event.

On Thursday, October 18, the meeting will take place from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the Deschutes County Services Center Building located at 1300 NW Wall Street, first floor, in Bend. Everyone is invited to attend.
