Jake’s seeks reservations for Thanksgiving meal

Jake’s is accepting reservations for its Annual Thanksgiving Meal for Seniors at the Bend Senior Center. Reservations can be made at 382-0118.

Every year, Jake’s closes its doors to normal business and opens up in the afternoon with an-all volunteer staff to serve an ‘at cost’ meal to seniors who don’t have family close by.

Once again, this year, Jake’s is partnering with Central Oregon Council on Aging and Bend Senior Center for hosting the afternoon meal.. Seniors are invited to join us and to use the various facilities available at the Bend Senior Center.

Transportation is provided for all who need it and volunteers will be delivering to those who can’t or don’t want to leave their homes.

Meals will be served on the hour and will start at Noon and continue on till 5PM. Every hour will have entertainment provided by area musical volunteers.
