Bend woman accused of pot sales to minors
A woman was arrested in a raid on her southwest Bend home Tuesday night, accused of selling marijuana from her home, including sales to minors – and allegedly assisted in some sales by a 15-year-old girl, police said.
Over the past month, Bend police investigating an alleged drug sale to a minor determined that Jennifer Harrison, 41, had been selling marijuana from her home at 61034 Tuscany Drive, in the Romaine Village neighborhood, said Lt. Paul Kansky.
Around 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, officers executed a search warrant at Harrison’s home and seized evidence including marijuana packaged for sale, cash, a digital scale, packaging materials, drug records and other drug paraphernalia, Kansky said.
Harrison was arrested and taken to the Deschutes County Jail, where she was lodged on three counts each of drug delivery to a minor and drug delivery “for consideration,” as well as one count of first-degree child neglect.
A jail officer said Harrison was released from jail after an initial court appearance Wednesday.
A 15-year-old girl who allegedly assisted Harrison in some marijuana sales was cited in lieu of custody for drug delivery to a minor.
Kansky said the investigation was continuing and asked anyone with more information to contact Bend police.
