Free ‘Powerful Tools for Caregivers’ series

Central Oregon Council On Aging (COCOA) will host the six-week Powerful Tools for Caregivers series for family caregivers January 8 through February 12, 2013 from 1:30 – 3:00 pm at the Redmond Senior Center. Registration is required and the series is free.

Powerful Tools for Caregivers is an educational program designed to help family caregivers take care of themselves while caring for a relative or friend. Caregivers will benefit from this class whether they are helping a parent, spouse, friend or someone who lives at home, in a nursing home, or across the country.

For information or to register, please call 541.678.5483. This class meets once a week for six weeks. Another series is planned for spring in Bend.
