DirecTV adds Central Oregon channels

There’s some good news for DirecTV satellite subscribers in Deschutes County — you can now access local high-definition programming, including KTVZ-NewsChannel 21.

DirecTV announced Wednesday that they have added local HD programming to their choices for Bend-area (Deschutes County) subscribers.

That includes HD programming on KTVZ-NBC, as well as KFXO-Fox and other local channels. DirecTV also has added the CW, though in standard definition.

That makes local TV programming available to about 6,000 DirecTV subscribers in Deschutes County.
