Entry forms for the 2013 Sisters Rodeo Parade are now available, according to Committee members Jeri Buckmann and Vicki Yost.

The parade will be held on Saturday, June 8, starting at 9:30 a.m. in downtown Sisters as part of the 73nd Sisters PRCA Rodeo. Entry deadline is May 15 with parade position numbers to be sent out after that date, according to the committee.

Forms may be accessed at the Sisters Rodeo website, sistersrodeo.com, or at the rodeo office, 220 West Cascade Ave. in Sisters. The entry form includes general rules for parade participants, a map of the route, where to obtain information on overnight accommodations including boarding facilities for animals.

“The Sisters Rodeo Parade is a highlight of the rodeo activities that include bands, community youth groups, twenty plus rodeo queens, colorful floats and a whole lot of horses. It is a pleasure to see everyone participating having a great time as well as the thousands who come to watch,” said Buckmann.

Judging will start at 8:30 a.m. on parade day with trophies and ribbons to be awarded for both adult and youth groups

Information for visiting rodeo courts and advisors is also available at the rodeo office for both the parade and the grand entry during the four rodeo performances.

The 73 rd Sisters PRCA Rodeo will feature five performances on June 5, 7,8,9. Tickets may be purchased at the rodeo office at 220 SW Cascade Ave. in Sisters or by phoning (541) 549-0121 or (800) 827-7522. FAX 541-549-0582.
