Work to affect Juniper Swim-Fitness hours

Juniper Swim & Fitness Center will be undergoing fall maintenance and improvement August 31st through September 15th, affecting the facility’s programs and operations. In addition, the Labor Day holiday is September 2nd, so patrons can expect special hours and some limited closures over the next three weeks.

The Pilates studio renovation is underway and expected to be completed September 9th. Improvements include floor refinishing and lighting. Yoga and Pilates classes will have a modified schedule during this time.

The indoor 25-meter pool will be closed August 31st through September 15th for regular bi-annual maintenance. Closures include small duck pool, indoor 25-meter pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna. All lap swimming and water exercise will occur in the outdoor Olympic pool during this time. Water exercise classes and schedules will be modified and the Olympic pool will be at 83 degrees to accommodate all users and programs.

For Labor Day on September 2nd, the facility will be open special holiday hours from 12:00 to 5:00 pm. Patrons can enjoy open recreation swim, lap swimming and the fitness center. Fitness classes and child care will not be offered.
