Bend Habitat vies in online campaign

Bend Area Habitat for Humanity has been selected as a finalist in an exciting social giving campaign called “My Community Cares,” sponsored by the charitable arm of Home Federal Bank.

In this campaign, the votes of our community can truly help make a difference! The Home Federal Foundation will award $25,000 in grants to four nonprofit organizations that receive the most votesduring the voting period which starts October 1. The top prize is $10,000.

Your vote can help us win! Voting is open October 1 through November 3. Encourage your friends and families to participate as well – each vote counts!

This grant funding will allow us to continue our important work providing affordable homeownership, home repair and weatherization services for low income families and individuals in Bend and Prineville. Bend Area Habitat is dedicated to providing homeownership opportunities and home repair and weatherization services for low income individuals and families in Bend and Crook County. In partnership with the communities of Bend and Prineville, Bend Area Habitat is currently under construction on their 102 nd home for the Parris family!
