Bend co.’s painting charity giveaway returns
Webfoot Painting Co., a leading Central Oregon residential and commercial painting company, announces its 5th Annual $5,000 Painting Charity Giveaway. This year, the event comes with a little twist. 2014 will mark the first ever “Home Edition” giveaway and will be all about families and households in need. Next year will bring, you guessed it, Non-Profit Edition!
The Bend-based company will select one recipient in the Bend/Redmond area based on need and compelling story to receive $5,000 in free paint, labor and materials.
Last year, the Bethlehem Inn, Central Oregon’s only emergency shelter, was selected as the beneficiary of the annual giveaway. The exterior surfaces of their three buildings were severely worn and hadn’t been painted in over 15 years. Now the once severely rusted metal railings, 50 worn and beaten front doors and door trim, and other trim/siding on the buildings are protected and looking sharp. The Bethlehem Inn and Webfoot Painting would like to thank once again last year’s supporting sponsors Sherwin Williams who donated all paint and materials, Press Pros who donated promotional flyers, ORSA Design who donated a free color consultation, Quality Interior Works and Montgomery Builders for donating carpentry work, Miller Lumber for donating building materials, and Brian Page Design.
Webfoot Painting will begin collecting stories of worthy recipients for their 2014 $5000 Painting Charity Giveaway via their website on Monday, January 13 th . For the fifth consecutive year, the entire Webfoot team will provide their time, talents and resources using paint products donated by Sherwin Williams to freshen up and restore someone’s home. Stories will be collected through the end of February with the winner being determined by a company vote in March. The only criteria is that you have a compelling story of why you feel you or someone else you know and care about, deserves the free painting services. Individuals, families, and households may be nominated.
Webfoot asks the community to provide written stories, pictures and any supporting materials no later than February 28, 2013 via the company’s website submission form (www.webfootpainting.com), email (gavin@webfootpainting.com), or mail (20585 Brinson Blvd #4, Bend, OR 97701).
