Radiothon raises $25,500 for Make-A-Wish

The13th annual Make-A-Wish Radiothon raised over $25,500 and 82,000 frequent flier miles that will help grant wishes to children living with life-threatening medical conditions in Central Oregon.

The two-day Make-A-Wish Radiothon aired on 105.7 KQAK-FM, THE PEAK 104.1 and LITE 95.7. Since its inception in 2001, the event has delivered 95 wishes to Central Oregon kids, raised over $319,000 and generated over 2.3 million air miles.

The Make-A-Wish Radiothon featured Horizon Broadcasting Group air-personalities
Dave Clemens, Robin Fox, Jeffrey Brian Nelson, Donna Britt and John Tesh. The Radiothon originated from Subaru of Bend on February 27 and 28.

Your kindness allows us to bring hope and happiness to five local children who are going through some very tough times,” said Jessica Kolkmeyer, Director of Development and Communications for Make-A-Wish Oregon.
