The Pregnancy Resource Centers of Central Oregon announces the dedication of its new ultrasound machine at the Bend Center located at 369 NE Revere Avenue.

An Open House is scheduled Sunday, March 16, from 2:00-4:00 pm. The dedication ceremony will begin at 3:00 pm. Clergy from both St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and New Hope Church in Bend will dedicate the new machine and the medical staff who will operate it.

Funding for the new Toshiba Ultrasound Machine, as well as for the first year of salary for the nurse who will operate it, was generously provided by the Knights of Columbus.

The total funds raised by this hard-working fraternal organization exceeded $40,000. Many generous individuals who believe in the work of the Pregnancy Resource Centers contributed to the project.

PRCCO will use the machine to provide free first-trimester limited ultrasound exams to its clients.

All goods and services at the Pregnancy Resource Centers are provided for free, including pregnancy tests, confidential peer counseling, and a myriad of baby clothes and articles.

Clients receive accurate information about pregnancy, fetal development, lifestyle issues, and related concerns, PRCCO does not offer or refer for abortions or abortifacients, but is committed to offering accurate information about abortion procedures and risks.
