Sunriver Resort event aids Newberry Habitat

Newberry Habitat for Humanity was the beneficiary of a $33,000 donation presented by Sunriver Resort. The funds were raised during The Showcase on Friday August 1st and Saturday August 2nd at Sunriver Resort.

“We are very proud to support this worthwhile cause and present Newberry Habitat for Humanity with this donation to further their mission of providing affordable housing for families in need,” said Tom O’Shea, Managing Director of Sunriver Resort.

The Showcase featured the Crosswater Invitational, an 18-hole charity golf tournament on the private Crosswater course in Sunriver, which has been recognized by Golf Digest as one of the “Top 100 Greatest Courses in America.” More than 100 wines were featured at The Showcase as well as dozens of gourmet cheeses, hors d’oeuvres, spirits, micro brews, and live music.

Sunriver Resort extends its gratitude to the sponsors who made it possible to raise the funds in support of Newberry Habitat for Humanity.
