Deschutes County partially reopens Cascade Lakes Highway

The Deschutes County Road Department on Wednesday moved the snow gate road closure on Cascade Lakes Highway from the Deschutes Bridge to Elk Lake.

Access to Elk Lake will be provided via South Century Drive to the southern portion of the Cascade Lakes Highway.

Full opening of the Cascade Lakes Highway is tentatively scheduled to occur in mid to late April, weather dependent.
