Sisters man killed in rollover crash

KTVZ

A 70-year-old Sisters man was killed Thursday night in a rollover crash on Fryrear Road east of Sisters, Deschutes County sheriff’s deputies said.

Sgt. Aaron Harding said Michael Anthony Graham was driving a 1996 BMW 328 convertible north on Fryrear near Warrin Road when the car left the road and rolled several times, throwing the driver to the side of the road.

Graham was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, Harding said, adding that there were no other occupants in the car or other vehicles involved.

However, Graham’s dog was found alive and well at the scene, the sergeant added.

“Speed appears to have been a factor in this crash,” Harding said, adding that Graham was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.

The accident remains under investigation. Deputies were assisted by Oregon State Police, Cloverdale Fire and Sisters-Camp Sherman Fire.
