Deschutes County SO seeks owners of found goat, pony

The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the owners of a goat found earlier this month south of Sunriver and a pony found Wednesday in northeast Bend.

On June 16, around 4:12 p.m., the sheriff’s office ws dispatched to a report of a goat at large in the area of Elsinore Road and Solar Drive, just south of Sunriver, said Lt. Deron McMaster.

On Wednesday, around 7:14 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a report of a found pony in the area of Cricketwood Road near Repine Drive, in northeast Bend, McMaster said.

The animals were transported to the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office Rescue Ranch.

The owners of the goat and pony have not been located.Please contact the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office through the non-emergency dispatch number, 541-693-6911, if you have information on the owners.
