KTVZ

In 2015, the Central Oregon Association of REALTORS® (COAR) was able to donate directly to nine area non-profits and organized members for several volunteer activities.

COAR donated to: OSU-Cascades, Economic Development for Central Oregon, Redmond Golfers for Scholars, the Central Oregon Veterans Ranch, the LaPine Community Kitchen, Soroptimist International of Bend, the Central Oregon Council on Aging, Action through Advocacy and A Home to Share.

Additionally, COAR organized four Blood Drives, two food drives, volunteers for United Way Days of Caring, a Habitat Build Day, volunteers for the Kid’s Zone at the Deschutes County Fair and donated over 50 Thanksgiving Turkeys for Salvation Army from members.

“REALTOR® members, offices, appraisers and affiliates of COAR are committed to our communities” according to COAR President Dave Feagans. COAR also worked with the Oregon Association of REALTORS® Home Foundation to help secure donations to: the Bend Area Habitat for Humanity, Redmond Habitat for Humanity, NeighborImpact and Housing Works.
