Starting Monday, April 18, Mt. Bachelor will transition to spring operating hours, and new this year the lifts will open to the public an hour earlier (8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.).

“You asked, we listened,” said John McLeod, Director of Finance and interim General Manager at Mt. Bachelor, “For the past several years, our spring hours have been 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. It is our mission to connect with our guests and help them get the most out of their experience here at Mt. Bachelor. This spring, opening an hour earlier is one way we can enhance the on-hill experience.”

Pine Marten, Skyliner, and Summit are scheduled to operate daily through the end of the season. Northwest is scheduled to operate daily through Sunday, May 8, while Sunrise and Sunshine Accelerator are scheduled to run daily until April 18.

To complement Springtacular, the Mt. Bachelor Spring pass is available for $199 and offers the best value at a cheaper price than 3 single day lift tickets. The spring pass is valid to use from Monday, March 28 through closing day on Sunday, May 29. Spring lift ticket pricing will also begin on Monday, April 18. Daily lift tickets will be priced at $69 for adults, $57 for teens and seniors, and $42 for youth and seniors 70+.

Springtacular, Mt. Bachelor’s branding for the spring season, includes live music every weekend, numerous spring events, extended operations on some Fridays in March and April, and as always soft snow and sunny days.

Festivities begin on Friday, March 25 with the first Pine Party of the season. For this event, Pine Marten lift will operate until 7:00 p.m. for everyone with a pass or ticket product. A special $19 lift ticket will be available for guests looking to ride from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. The Clearing Rock bar will also remain open until 7:00 p.m. Events continue on Easter Sunday with the annual Easter Egg hunt for kids and the Deschutes Easter Keg Hunt for adults.
