Group gathers at Bend’s Worrell Wayside Park in bid to spare it from more parking

A group gathered at Worrell Wayside Park in downtown Bend on Wednesday to protest plans for major changes. Last week, Deschutes County commissioners voted to redesign the park, to make it more accessible and increase parking, rejecting an option for a five-story parking garage.
