A 25-year-old Burns woman injured in a rollover crash on U.S. Highway 20 Sunday morning was cut out of the wreckage and flown to a Bend hospital, where she was cited for drug possession, Oregon State Police reported.

Troopers said Brianna Ashley Basey was at the wheel of a 1998 Subaru Legacy that crashed shortly before 9 a.m. about 65 miles east of Bend.

During the crash investigation, methamphetamine, heroin and marijuana were found in the driver;s possession, troopers said. Basey was cited on meth and heroin possession charges and released at St. Charles Bend, where a house supervisor said she was in fair condition late Sunday night.

OSP Capt. Bill Fugate said “impaired driving is being considered a contributing factor in the crash.”

The crash and investigation shut the highway for a time, and it was fully open again by about 11:30 a.m., troopers said. American Towing towed the car.
