Asphalt overlay planned on Arnold Market, Baker roads

In the coming weeks, construction crews will install asphalt overlay on Arnold Market and Baker roads, Deschutes County officials said Thursday.

The schedule:

Arnold Market Road from Billadeau Road to Gosney Road. This project will occur fromJuly 11toJuly 22.

Baker Road from the Highway 97 overpass to Brookswood Boulevard. This project will occur fromJuly 25toJuly 29.

Traffic will be limited to one lane and drivers can expect delays of up to 20 minutes during construction. Hours of operation will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Drivers should use alternate routes where possible.
