ISLAMABAD (AP) — Pakistani authorities have raided the house of a media owner and arrested him after a dramatic scuffle during which the man fired a pistol toward police and injured an officer by hitting him in the head with the weapon. Mohsin Baig is the owner and editor-in-chief of news outlet Online and the Urdu-language Daily Jinnah newspaper. He was arrested in the capital Islamabad days after he appeared on a TV talk show and suggested that Prime Minister Imran Khan had showed favoritism by granting an award to a government minister with whom he has a close friendship.
