Study: Bend-La Pine expects to need 5 new schools over next 20 years for growth

A new sites and facilities report up for discussion Tuesday evening by the Bend La Pine School Board says the district will need five more schools over the next 20 years, based on current growth projections: three 600-student elementary schools, an 800-student middle school and, at the end of the 20 years, a 1,500-student high school.
