‘Girls Have the Edge’ event in Bend supports girls wanting to learn, advance in hockey

The Girls Have the Edge event took place on Saturday at The Pavilion in Bend, hosted by the Bend Rapids youth hockey club. The young girls were paired with an adult mentor to practice skating, shooting and defending. Team Oregon girls was there to be people the young girls could look up to. The Girls Have an Edge is geared towards girls of all ages.
