Cascade Natural Gas work returns to downtown Bend

Cascade Natural Gas has started its 2017 construction projects in downtown Bend, officials said Sunday. There will be some congestion and detours, so look for alternative routes as this project ramps up.

This week, work crews will be working in the alley between NW Franklin and Minnesota avenues, at the intersection with Lava Avenue. By Tuesday, they will begin working east toward Tin Pan Alley.

The alley will remain closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. and will reopen each evening.
