Many people are visiting Central Oregon from other states to celebrate Independence Day and many of their plans include barbecuing, entertaining the kids, and enjoying the sunshine.

Some people visiting Redmond's Sam Johnson Park shared their holiday plans with NewsChannel21 Sunday.
