St. Charles Bend to close north entrances, parking lot
To grow the number of critical care and inpatient beds available to care for the community, St. Charles Bend is constructing a three-story patient tower on the north side of its campus — and that’s about to mean tighter parking and reduced access for some hospital visitors.
Starting Thursday, parking lot H will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic “to allow for the next stage of construction and to ensure the safety of patients, visitors and caregivers,” the hospital announced Monday.
That means all north hospital entrances — including lower-level rehab — will be closed for the duration of the construction project, which is expected to be completed in the spring of 2019.
Designated MRI and rehab patient parking is now in parking lot F, and patients and visitors should plan to enter the hospital at the main entrance.

“St. Charles thanks the community for its patience during this project,” the announcement concluded.
