PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Portland police say three teenage girls have been arrested on suspicion of being involved in a series of strong-arm carjackings.

Police said “it is believed there were no weapons displayed or used during the robberies,” but the suspects used force.

The girls – ages 15, 14 and 14 – were booked into juvenile detention on suspicion of crimes including second-degree robbery and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
