Two stabbed on bus on Interstate 84; suspect arrested
Authorities say two people were stabbed aboard a Greyhound bus east of Portland and a suspect arrested.
The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday that Robert Moran Vasquez was arrested at the scene and booked into jail on charges of attempted murder, second-degree assault and 28 counts of reckless endangerment.
The two victims were taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries not considered life-threatening.
The sheriff’s office says the violence occurred shortly before midnight on Interstate 84 just east of the Troutdale exit.
