EUGENE, Ore. (AP) – Oregon State Police say a Florence man who threatened to shoot everyone in his trailer park was arrested after a six-hour standoff with a SWAT team.

Troopers responded to the trailer park Wednesday after getting reports that 54-year-old Scott Williams was drunk, disorderly and threatening violence.

The agency says Williams pointed a firearm at troopers while refusing to leave his manufactured home.

The standoff lasted more than six hours, finally ending after police deployed pepper spray, tear gas and a stun gun.

Williams was booked into the Lane County Jail on charges of menacing, disorderly conduct, unlawful use of a weapon and pointing a firearm at another.
