Local Alert Weather – Thurs. PM
Happy Thursday evening, everyone!
A WIND ADVISORY stays in effect for many areas in Central Oregon through 8 o’clock tonight. Wind gusts today have exceeded 50 miles per hour and will continue to be breezy overnight. We can expect winds out of the south around 10 to 20 miles per hour. Overnight we have a slight chance for some rain showers with a better chance for those closer to the Cascades. Lows will fall into the low to mid 30s, which is around 10 degrees above average.
Tomorrow will still see some breezy conditions at times, but it won’t be nearly as windy as it was for today. Some clouds will be overhead throughout the day tomorrow as this system wraps up across the region. Highs will be mild once again in the upper 40s and low to mid 50s.
Heading into the weekend the gradual clearing trend will continue. Mostly sunny skies are expected both Saturday and Sunday. Highs will be in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Make plans to get outside this weekend as the next system rolls in by midweek!
By Tuesday we’ll see changes in the form of some clouds overhead with the chance for rain showers developing. Temperatures will be a little cooler in the low to mid 50s.
