Local Alert Weather – Sun. PM
Happy Sunday evening, everyone!
We’ve seen increasing clouds this afternoon across Central Oregon and can expect more of the same for tonight. We also have the slight chance for a few showers this evening, but once we take the turn past midnight we will see a slim chance for showers. Overnight lows will be in the low to mid 20s, which is around average.
Monday will see partly sunny skies through the afternoon with a very slight chance for a few showers in higher elevations. Highs will top out in the upper 40s and low to mid 50s. We’ll see some sunshine through the afternoon. Winds will be out of the southeast around 10 miles per hour.
Overnight into Tuesday the chance for showers increases. As of tonight, some areas in Central Oregon (mainly in higher elevations) could see a dusting of snow on the ground by Tuesday morning. Highs will climb into the mid to upper 50s and we head into the middle of the week.
The next system presses in by Wednesday, which will bring us a good chance for rain showers by Wednesday night and overnight into Thursday. Highs by Thursday will be noticeably cooler in the mid to upper 40s. We carry the chance for rain showers through Friday.
