KTVZ

A 63-year-old La Pine man having an apparent medical emergency crashed his SUV all the way into a La Pine Parks and Rec building Tuesday evening, but the facility was unoccupied at the time, Deschutes County sheriff’s deputies said.

Sgt. William Bailey said the gray 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara crashed all the way into the structure around 6:20 p.m. at the intersection of First Street and Couch Road.

The driver was flown by air ambulance to St. Charles Bend, Bailey said. Two young female passengers, ages 3 and 6, suffered minor injuries.
