I am more than excited and grateful to begin my career with you all in Central Oregon! Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, I am accustomed to sunny skies and warm temperatures, but I happily welcome the cooler climates, snowfall and becoming more active in outdoor activities.
I graduated from Loyola Marymount University in the spring of 2018, double majoring in both political science and African American studies, with a minor in journalism.
While at LMU, my passion for journalism began with my interests in print and digital media, later transitioning to broadcast journalism.
I served as on-air talent and hosted a weekly segment for the LMU radio station, KXLU 88.9FM. I interned for the Argonaut Newspaper, a local publication for the westside of Los Angeles that has a weekly circulation of 30,000. During my last semester at LMU, I interned with Fox News as a College Associate at the Los Angeles bureau.
I grew up playing volleyball and running track, so I consider myself an active person and would love to continue that here in beautiful Bend. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, doing yoga and my "guilty pleasure" of online shopping.
I am a member of the National Association of Black Journalists. I look forward to being a part of this community and reporting the news here at News Channel 21!
