Celebrate Earth Day this weekend in Bend at the annual Earth Day Fair & Parade

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- It's Earth Day today! This year's theme is "Our Power, Our Planet", to emphasize how small, daily actions from average people can help protect the environment.

This weekend, you can celebrate locally! Head on over to the annual Earth Day Fair & Parade in Bend on Saturday at Alpenglow Park from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

The Earth Day Parade will feature stilt walkers, unicyclists, and flow artists appearing as butterflies and nature sprites.

Participants are invited to dress up as their favorite parts of the earth--bringing imagination, costumes and love for nature.
