Pet Pals: Charlie and Chuckie are looking for their FURever home

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- This week’s Pet Pals features two adorable littermate kittens looking for their forever homes through the Humane Society of Central Oregon.

Charlie and Chuckie are about three months old. The kittens were rescued after a family noticed their mother cat had five kittens, but later disappeared with three of them, leaving Charlie and Chuckie behind.

Compassionate community members were able to safely catch the kittens and bring them to the Humane Society of Central Oregon.

Staff say the kittens were nervous when they first arrived and can still be a little shy in new environments. But once they get comfortable, their personalities begin to shine.

At the shelter, Charlie and Chuckie can be found rolling over, kneading their paws, and purring.

The kittens also have slightly rough coats, but staff say good nutrition, a clean home, and plenty of love should help them blossom.

Both Charlie and Chuckie are now available for adoption through the Humane Society of Central Oregon.
