MADRAS, Ore. (KTVZ) -- NewsChannel 21 and Mid Oregon Credit Union are giving Jefferson County Middle School $1,000 in support of their student-operated holiday school.

Students earned “Buff Bucks” by being good citizens and students and now they get to spend them on gifts in the “Buff’s Bazaar”

All of the gifts were donated by local and regional sponsors, including Indian Head Casino, Bend Learning Express, the Portland Trail Blazers, Portland Timbers, Chavez Market, La Favorite, Colima Market, Leading Edge Flight Academy, Mt. Bachelor, Madras Aquatic Center, Jefferson County Scholarship Committee and even the school’s staff.

The $1,000 will go towards buying more gifts for next year.
