Furry Friends: Elegant Dutchess the German Shepherd is looking for her forever home

REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- This week's Furry Friend is Dutchess, a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix looking for her forever home at BrightSide Animal Center in Redmond.

This goofy girl is full of so much love. She'll melt in your lap the second you show her any attention! Volunteers and staff at BrightSide call her Exquisite, Elegant Dutchess because of her sweetness.

"We don't have a lot of past history on her, but we have been learning so much about her. She has done really well, in foster and with kiddos," said Hannah Loftis, the shelter director at BrightSide. "She does definitely prefer her own space. She is not a big fan of other dogs or, you know, small animals like cats. So she would love to be a family companion and be the dog for them."

Dutchess is looking for a chill home environment. She already knows her basic commands!
