Old Mill District begins preparations for Santaland, Santa’s arrival by AirLink helicopter
BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Bend's Old Mill District is gearing up for Christmas fun, with a big celebration the day after Thanksgiving, including a very important guest arriving by air (not sleigh).
Santaland will be opening on Friday. It's a project of the Rotary Club of Greater Bend. It provides kids and families a special time with Santa.
Santa will also be swapping his sleigh and reindeer in for an AirLink helicopter. Santa's arrival will be kicking off four weekends of fun at Santaland at the Old Mill District.
