Furry Friends: Bennett would make the perfect hiking buddy
REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- This week, we're spotlighting Bennett, a sweet, 70-pound Alaskan Malamute/Siberian Husky mix.
He's sure to give you a run for your money in a game of tug-of-war!
Bennett just celebrated his first birthday but has lived almost his entire life at the shelter.
"He spent a little bit of time in a home. To no fault to his own, he came back," Savanah Wellman, the development and volunteer manager for BrightSide Animal Center, said Wednesday. "He has a lot of friends here at the shelter that he just loves to run and wrestle and play with. He is probably going to do best in a home without really small children. I would say probably 12 years and older, just because he is very active and energetic - and he's a big boy!"Â
Bennett is sure to put a smile on your face! If you're looking for a hiking buddy, he's your guy.
If you would like to meet Bennett, please contact the BrightSide Animal Center. They're open Tuesday through Saturday from 11Â a.m. to 5:30 p.m.Â
